Health and social care facilities

• Hospital Slaný
  - wards:
  surgery, internal medicine, gynaecological - obstetric, newborn, children wards and Anesthesiologic - Resusciatation Ward, with the total number of beds 284, including 10 beds of Unit of Intensive Care JIP (4 surgery, 6 internal medicine). The care of the patients is assured by 351 employees, including 40 doctors and 154 nurses. Since 1996 the hospital is in ownership of the town.
  
  
• Health centre Slaný - it is a private health facility as well as the local medical centres. .
  
  
• Old people´s home Slaný - facility of OÚSS, with capacity of 77 inhabitants.
  
  
• A house with the homecare service Slaný - facility of OÚSS, with capacity of 21 inhabitants. It has its subdivisions in Otvovice (17 places), Zlonice (10) and Velvary (11). It takes care about 210 people.
  
  
• Guest-house Na Sadech Slaný - with capacity of 85 flats for107 inhabitants.
